Pet release film is also called pet silicone oil film, which is to coat a layer of silicone oil on the surface of PET film, so as to reduce the adhesion on the surface of PET film and achieve the effect of release. It can be divided into single-sided release film and double-sided release film. According to the release force, it can be divided into light release film, medium release film and heavy release film. Commonly used thickness: 0.012mm, 0.019mm, 0.025mm, 0.038mm, 0.05mm, 0.075mm, 0.1mm, 0.125mm, 0.188mm. As for the use of pet release film in die cutting, the following problems are often encountered:

1. When peeling, there is a sound. One is that the parting force is too large, and the second is the result of uneven coating.

2. The anti stripping is mainly caused by the unsatisfactory combination of parting force. There are two reasons. First, the factory inspection of parting film is not strict, the inspection equipment is not complete, and the production process is not stable, which makes the parting force of products of the same model differ too much. As a result, the die-cutting factory used the release film with the release force they thought. Secondly, the weatherability of the release layer is not enough, which has changed greatly with time.

3. It can't be peeled off after being pasted with the adhesive tape, which is generally due to uneven coating. Some of the release films with serious leakage will cause no release effect on a certain part, so the adhesive tape can't be peeled off. This problem should be taboo for the die-cutting of the round knife.

4. The greasiness of the parting surface is mainly caused by the system of the release agent, which is not necessarily bad for greasy things. In fact, the surface coating of some greasy parting films is relatively uniform, and the residual adhesion rate is better. But some of them are simply poor in tightness, and the silicone oil is easy to fall off. These can be determined by detection.

5. For electrostatic problems, in addition to physical treatment methods, chemical treatment is permanent. Generally, there are dust-free workshops and equipment for electrostatic removal in photoelectric die-cutting plants, so the problem will not be very big. Strict requirements, you can choose antistatic coating of the release film.
